Abstract
Tokyo Metropolitan Mizumoto Park is located in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, about 20km to the northwest of Tokyo Station. The nearest station to the park is Kanamachi Station in the JR Joban Line. The park was opened in 1965, and has an area of 760000 square meters (about 16 times as large as Tokyo Dome). It is situated in Tokyo's foremost waterside district with a river and lake view. The park is designated as a place of refuge in case of a disaster, and has been provided with an emergency guidance system.
